The summer signing was replaced at half-time in United's goalless draw with Aston Villa on Sunday, with Victor Lindelof taking his place. This comes hot on the heels of United centre-back Harry Maguire limping off injured against Villa at the weekend, and winger Alejandro Garnacho withdrawing from the Argentina squad with a knee issue. Kobbie Mainoo has also withdrawn from the latest England squad through injury.
